Bio
Dr. ASHIQ A. SAKIB is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville in Illinois, USA. Previously, he was an assistant professor at Florida Polytechnic University, Florida, USA. He earned a Ph. D. in Computer Engineering from North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND, USA, in 2019 and a B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India, in 2013.
His research focuses on advanced digital systems design, which spans over asynchronous logic design and optimization, low-power designs, resilience, and formal verification. He has received multiple grants from federal and non-federal agencies such as NSF and SCEEE.
